The Center for Forensic Science Research and Education (CFSRE) at the Fredric Rieders Family Foundation (FRFF) in conjunction with the Colombo Plan has developed this Sentinel Snapshot: Precursors and Intermediates Identified in Fentanyl Tablets and Powders to disseminate results related to our qualitative and quantitative testing of samples seized from the United States Southwest border. Our new report details drug findings and the health implications associated with polydrug counterfeit fentanyl tablets. The Colombo Plan has created a program managed by the CFSRE/FRFF which allows us to monitor the spread and prevalence of emerging threats the drug supply internationally.
